I know you’re dying to get your fix of Joe Covelli and so am I. Some of you were a little irritated with Emma at the end of book one, Breathe In, but lets just say . . . there’s a lot more of Joe to cum!
I’m so excited to be one of the nine indie authors participating in the Indie 9 Giveaway! For eight (8) weeks, nine (9) authors, including myself, are supporting each other in a cross promotion of each other’s novels. What does this mean? It means that there are seventy-two (72) total chances to WIN an autographed paperback or eBook of our novels! Each author will be promoting the other seven for an entire week, allowing you, the reader, a chance to enter each week for the chance to WIN!
I’ll be posted across all my social media each week which author and book I’m giving away, so be sure to stay connected. Each week I’ll be posting a blog specifically about the book I’m giving away for the week, which will include author and book details.
If you haven’t seen it already, Breathe In has been reviewed by the wonderful Danielle from Universal Creativity Inc. Danielle reached out to me just before the release of Breathe In, and with a busy college schedule, Danielle took probably most of her free time to begin the journey of Emma’s story. I’ll let the review speak for itself, but I will repeatedly say THANK YOU to Danielle for her kind words and that I’m really excited that she enjoyed the story.
Here’s a little of what Danielle said about Breathe In:
I loved reading this debut novel by Martha Sweeney. She created perfect masterpiece that will continued to be read by many as the years come. Her novel is one that is hard to put down until every last juicy and intriguing page has been read. Perfect plot, stunning creativity, and a romance that will leave you completely undone.
Be sure to stop by Danielle’s blog for many other great book reviews and recommendations. She reads a variety of genres as well as offer writing course and other cool things to anyone who is considering on becoming an author! You can connect with Danielle on Goodreads.com too!
Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to seeing what you think of Breathe In.
As some of you are aware, I recently encountered a challenge with my Mac. The Beast decided to die – plan and simple. While she was being revived by the wonderful people at Apple, I was biting my nails wondering what chapters were lost for Breathe Out. There was a backup of my computer, but it hadn’t been backed-up for several days prior to the crash. (To see some of the process, check out my Instagram feed @marthasweeneyauthor.)
Luckily when the Beast returned, I found out that only the last five chapters were missing – none should have been gone. I was able to rewrite the final chapter on my husband’s computer while waiting for the repairs and as soon as the Beast was back, she and I had a come to Jesus moment before finishing the other chapters. Now, I’m pleased to announce that Breathe Out is officially written.
From finding out that there were in fact missing chapters, and to prevent an event like this in the future, I’ve decided to start using a cloud-based backup system for documents. I’m not a big fan of cloud security, but I’m less of a fan of having to rewrite chapters.
What does this mean? All in all, I was hoping to have Breathe Out edited and formatted to be released in August 2015. That still might be a possibility, but I need to have the time to finish editing before giving the final release date. I’m also the person who does the cover art for the books, so that has to be factored into the time delay. Worse case scenario, the release for Breathe Out will be scheduled the following month, September 2015.
I will definitely keep you ladies posted.
Thank you to all of you who have purchased, read and/or reviewed Breathe In. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on Breathe Out.
Check it out ladies! Whether you have already purchased your own Kindle edition of Breathe In or plan to, you can now request for your eBook of Breathe In to be autographed. That’s right! Thanks to authorgraph.com, I and bunch of other authors are able to offer our eBooks to have a digital autograph and personal inscription for the book.
How does it work?
Requesting and receiving Authorgraphs are free! However, if a reader uses Amazon’s Personal Document Service to receive the Authorgraph on his/her Kindle then Amazon may charge a small delivery fee.
Is the Authorgraph inserted into the e-book? No, it is a separate document. This allows a reader to create a “collection” where she can keep all of her Authorgraphs together.
Do readers need to own a Kindle device to receive an Authorgraph?
No, Authorgraphs are viewable on a wide variety of platforms. Readers can simply enter a regular email address at the time of their request and they will receive an email with links to download a PDF version (viewable in applications like iBooks) or an AZW version (viewable in all Kindle apps on iPad, iPhone, PC, Mac, etc.) of their Authorgraph.
Can Authorgraphs be personalized? Yes! Every Authorgraph goes only to the specific reader that requested it so an author can write a custom message for each reader. In addition, readers can include a short message to the author in order to provide a bit more context for personalizing the Authorgraph.
