Eco Nuts for Laundry
As many of you will find out over time, I am a very health conscious individual. There were some things that occurred in my life that made a significant impact on my thoughts and beliefs which dramatically changed my habits. I promise I will not preach – simply share my thoughts and findings. I hope you enjoy them!
Recently, my hubby and I finished our last bottle of organic laundry detergent. As an earth-friendly and earth-minded person, I was excited to finally try an even more environmentally friendly way of washing our clothes. One point for reducing a plastic bottle in a landfill and another point for using a truly all-natural soap – Econ Nuts. As you see in the picture, they aren’t actually nuts, they’re dried berries from trees that grow in the Himalayas. When agitated in water, they produce a naturally occurring surfactant called saponin, which gently cleanses laundry – an option for those sensitive to conventional laundry detergents.
With our first wash, our clothes came out clean. They smelled great and there weren’t any heavy perfume aromas. Though we do get sweaty in some of our clothes (we work out almost seven days a week), there weren’t any remnants of dirty, grime or sweat marks.
I’ll keep you posted as we continue to use the Eco Nuts. I hope to try more of their products.
Please see the images below for additional information about Eco Nuts to see if they are a possible solution for your washing needs.
Thanks for stopping by!

P.S. I look forward to hearing about your experiences with Eco Nuts and other earth-friendly products.
